Jasudavicius entered the UFC’s return to Montreal on a four-fight win streak with hopes of cracking the top 10 of the 125-pound division with a win. She didn’t disappoint, using her superior size to out-strike the always dangerous Andrade before exploding for a takedown. Once Jasudavicius was on top, she didn’t relinquish her advantage.

The Canadian contender bullied Andrade on the ground and broke down her defenses before working for the fight-ending submission. Once Jasudavicius sunk her hooks in, she was able to secure the choke and earn the tap-out.

The official time of the stoppage was 2:40 into Round 1.

Jasudavicius (14-3) has now won seven of her past eight fights. Afterwards, she did not call out a specific opponent, declaring that her goal is become the No. 1 contender no matter who is next for her.

Andrade (26-14) loses her second straight fight and now has just two wins in her past seven appearances. She has been particularly unsuccessful at 125 pounds as she has not won at this weight since January 2023.
