Paige VanZant’s slapping days are apparently just starting.

The former UFC fighter and combat sports star has signed up for a second Power Slap appearance as she goes up against Chelsea Dodson at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 24, the same weekend that UFC 308 is in town. Power Slap officially announced the matchup Wednesday, following an initial report by TMZ.

VanZant made her slapfighting debut this past June against Christine Wolmarans. She walked out with a unanimous decision win after scoring two knockdowns in the contest.

It was a much-needed victory for “12 Gauge,” who was winless in four straight fights dating back to her last UFC appearance in 2020. VanZant was submitted by Amanda Ribas at UFC 251, then went on to lose a pair of high-profile bare-knuckle boxing bouts to Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich. This past May, she fought influencer Elle Brooke to a split draw in a traditional boxing match.

Chelsea Dodson is the wife of combat sports veteran John Dodson, the two-time UFC flyweight title challenger currently competing in MMA and bare-knuckle boxing. Chelsea makes her first Power Slap appearance.

Power Slap 9 takes place on Oct. 24 and streams live on Rumble. UFC 308 takes place two days later at Etihad Arena, also in Abu Dhabi.
